Hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Sunday.
Rental process?
You are welcome to make your reservation online, in-person, call or email. We require a 4 day/4 bike minimum rental for reservations.
Delivery process?
We offer FREE delivery and pickup on all orders with a minimum of 4 bikes rented for 3 or more days, within our specified delivery area.
Delivery area range?
We deliver anywhere on the south end of the Island and Sea Pines Plantation (excluding Shipyard).
Refund cancellation policy?
We will gladly modify, cancel/refund your order provided that the equipment has not left our shop location.
Are bike helmets required in the state of South Carolina?
While we recommend helmets for your safety, they are not required by SC law. Helmets are $2/day or $6/week.
Does the Town of Hilton Head Island have bicycle rules?
Per the Town of HHI, motorists have the right of way at all crosswalks, intersections and curb cut entrances. On pathways, pedestrians have the right of way. Pathway safety is important:
• Keep right, pass left
• Announce to pass
• Observe a safe & courteous speed limit on pathways
• If you stop, pull off the path
• At intersections, stop, look, listen. Make eye contact with turning traffic
• Wear a helmet, especially children 12 and under
• Respect all pathway users
Are we allowed to ride the bikes on the beach?
Yes, that is what Beach Cruisers are for but please do not ride them in the water.
As for e-Bikes, we do not allow our e-Bikes to go on the beach.
The Town provides 64 miles of public pathways and nature trails.

Are there age restrictions for e-Bikes?
While SC does not have age restrictions to riding an e-Bike, our policy is riders 16 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult that is 21 years or older.
What are the size limits for the child seat?
We recommend 18 months and up and no more than 40lbs.
What happens if my bike or surfboard gets stolen?
It is important to remember to keep your bikes locked when unattended.
There is a $250 stolen bike fee if your bike was unlocked. Surfboards should be stored in a secure area. There is a $200 stolen surfboard fee.
What if I have an issue with my bike rental (chain falls off, flat tire, lock will not open, etc.)?
Please contact us immediately if you have a problem with your bike. If not during hours of operation, call our after-hours number listed on your invoice. We will make sure to resolve the issue ASAP.
Do I need a fishing license in SC to surf fish?
Anyone 16 years old or older who is fishing from shore, boat, private dock, free public dock or while wading requires a license. You can obtain a non-resident license at https://www.dnr.sc.gov//purchase.html through the SC Department of Natural Resources.
